We are so excited to have you as one of our members, and we bet you can't wait to get started.

So just before you do there's a few things we need to tell you.

​

Solo Beauty Academy offers a wide range of training Courses carefully tailored to meet the trends in the industry.
Each course has been expertly crafted by our Educators to ensure you gain all the knowledge, skills and techniques needed to be successful. We offer fully accredited industry recognised qualifications - only the best for our students.
The significant level of training you receive will ensure you are at the forefront of the industry upon successful completion of the course.

Our mission is to provide gold standard Education and Experience to all our students. We facilitate the set up and strategy behind a successful business creating life-long careers for all students. The T and C’s will be applied to your course booking.

You MUST read the training manual prior to your course date.

Failure to do so may create a lack of understanding on the course.

  1. All course fees are non-amendable and non-refundable.

  2. The deposit is payable in advance to reserve your place on the course unless paid in full.

  3. The course must be paid in full before the course starts.

  4. Classes will commence promptly at the time stated. Tutors are not responsible if you are late to the session for any reason. It is also your responsibility to bring a model/s to the course. In some cases, we may be able to help if you have travelled far from home or if you have booked Skin Care courses, we may prefer our own models.

  5. If for any reason in extreme circumstances we need to cancel your course, we will move your place to the next available course. Some courses only run once a month.

  6. If any student behaves improperly on the premises, either before or during an assessment, or damage or removes any equipment belonging to the tutor or salon, they will be asked to leave immediately, and there will be no refund of fees.

  7. Throughout the course you may be required to carry out several practical treatments on a model away from the academy. You must understand that you will be required to provide your own model, and this is a necessary requirement in order to complete the course and successfully pass.

  8. In some cases, the course may come with a Kit. It is your responsibility to bring the kit to class on every session needed and to keep the items with you during the day. Kits may vary in brand and price. She kits can be purchased on the day of the course of we have the stock available.

  9. Photos and videos are NOT to be taken of the session unless the trainer gives you permission. You can take photos or videos of your own work.

  10. The Tutor will take images on the day, and these may be used on our social media platforms for marketing purposes. If you are brining your own model, please explain images may be posted on social media.

  11. Fees are non-refundable if the course is interrupted or cancelled beyond our control.

  12. Please make use of our self-service area to bottled water. Breaks times will be provided on the day. There is also no smoking or vaping on the premises.

  13. We will not be responsible for damage or injury costs for incorrect application or misuse of products supplied.

  14. Starter kits may vary in brand and prices if you have purchased one. We use a number of suppliers

  15. Kit lists will be provided on the day of your course, you must always follow the guidelines and advice from the brand you wish to use after the course is complete.

  16. We cannot be liable for any parking charges if they occur. We are a 5 minute walk from Skewen Train station and a 5-minute drive from junction 44 off the M4.

  17. It is your responsibility to read the manuals in full before the face-to-face session as Our courses are focused on hands-on practical experience.

  18. Please wear appropriate clothing to the course, scrubs are preferred, sensible closed shoes and wear your hair tied back.

  19. Please note our prices are subject to change.

  20. If you do not receive any expected emails, please contact us at your earliest convenience so that we can ensure all the correct details for you are on file and try to resend anything you need with enough time prior to your course.

  21. Please ensure we have the correct spelling of your name for your certificate. Replacement certificates are £15

  22. You will have support after your training however this support is not 24/7 and indefinitely. Some courses will require plenty of practice after the course to perfect and refine your skills. You will need to gain insurance and practice first hand. No refunds are available due to your inability to perform the treatment or change in your circumstances

  23. or the course not meeting your own personal expectations. Everyone has differing learning abilities.

  24. Please advise the company of any Disabilities or Additional Learning Requirements you may have prior to your course. This is to allow us to assist you in your chosen subject. 


  25. All our courses are accredited however we please note we have numerous accredited providers for our courses. 

  26. It is your responsibility to obtain your own insurance once you have successfully completed the course giving all accurate information to the insurance provider. We are here to provide the course only and do not provide insurance or quotes. 

  27. On occasion we may reduce prices of the course. On these occasions you will not be eligible for these special offer prices. Similarly, if you have paid an early bird booking price, we will not charge you more if we sell the other places at full price. From time to time, we run special promotional offers. These are only valid for customers at that time and are time and quantity limited and cannot be backdated.

  28. We do not accept any responsibility for any one’s belongings whilst on site. This includes personal equipment or any vehicles that are brought to our site.

  29. If we need to cancel a training course, we will not be held liable for transportation, accommodation, loss of earnings or any other associated costs.

  30. We make all our students aware we have CCTV at the salon.

  31. There will be £15 additional charge if you choose to pay the final balance by card via fresha due to fees. Any questions please contact us on this matter as soon as you arrive on site as payment will automatically be taken with the card stored on fresha.

  32. We may pass your details onto providers who we work alongside. Such as 4t medical for kit recommendations and for you to be able to set up accounts with supplies.

  33. The ultimate Skin course has numerous facial techniques, these may be shown alongside or within the same facials. For example, dermaplane and micro needling can be carried out together. The trainer/practitioner will explain this to you during the Training session and some training protocols will be sent via email.

  34. Some courses require numerous protocols, if we feel you need more practice or time to complete, we ask you to come back another day to complete.

  35. No course material should be shared with anyone after you have complete the course. The course material is for your use only. 

  36. If you have used Clearpay or Klarna as a method of payment please note there are no refunds or exchanges. BNPL is a form of credit. You will be able to see their T and C's on their web site. All funds must be cleared by the providers before the courses go ahead. if there is a delay we will need to change the date of your course.
